Moon Palace THE GRAND CANCUN
Describe one of your favorite memories or highlights of your destination wedding:
One of our favorite parts of the wedding was the day that all of the guests got there. We had a huge welcome pool party and really set the tone for the rest of the weekend. It was so fun and heartwarming that all our guests traveled for us, so it was nice spending extra time with them. Another favorite memory was the surprises the venue gave us. Unfortunately, there was a large chance of rain on our wedding day so we had to move our reception indoors. The venue knew we were bummed about this, and secretly added sparklers, smoke, and confetti to our reception. This made for the most magical first dance.
Why would you recommend a destination wedding to future couples?
With the amount of time that goes into planning your wedding, it really felt nice to have more than just “one day” for our wedding. We loved having our closest friends and family on vacation with us. It really allowed people to loosen up and gave us a chance to spend more time with each person than we would of at a traditional wedding. We received extremely positive feedback and are so glad we chose to do a destination wedding!

My destination wedding was insanely magical.
Your number one tip (or two) for future destination wedding couples:
Tip 1: Expect there to be a big delay in response time from the venue up until closer to the wedding date. They do a ton of weddings a year, so their responses to your emails can go a couple weeks with no response. Don’t let this scare you! They will make sure the wedding is set up and coordinated beautifully. Tip 2: Use a texting service to keep in touch with your guests of any changes without having to text everyone manually. We used “Text My Guests” and it worked great. We were able to send reminder of event start times, changes in venue due to weather, and a nice thank you message while everyone is flying home.

Client Review:
Absolutely loved working with Beth!!
Highly recommend using Beth Rasor as your destination wedding planner! Beth was amazing from the beginning. During our initial call she worked with us to understand what our vision and budget were. Then she put together some venue options in great detail and went over them with us. After we chose the venue, she worked with us and the hotel to make sure we were staying on top of deadlines. She even toured the venue for us and took a ton of great photos and videos so we could get a feel for our options. Her team created a beautiful website for us with all of our travel details for guests and handled all the logistics for guests on our behalf. When we would have calls with the hotel/venue, she made sure to always get things in writing and question them if anything sounded off to make sure we weren't getting taken advantage of. Even during the wedding she was communicating with us and the venue to make sure everything was going smoothly. Beth also sent us the most thoughtful wedding gift before we flew out - our last name printed on a beach bag, his and hers tumblers, and even a dress carrier that made our flight to Cancun so easy. Beth is so sweet and really cares about making sure your experience is the best it can be. Thanks Beth!!
