Honestly, this is a tough question and so many friends and family ask me this. The entire trip was amazing and so unforgettable that its hard to pick one a favorite time. If its in your budget, I highly recommend doing a catamaran cruise with all of your guests. We did this as a thank you gift the day after the wedding. It was a BLAST. It was the perfect mix of fun and relaxing for the day after the wedding. We booked with Catamaya and they were also so great. So seamless from start to finish. Between the welcome party the day before, the entire wedding day and the catamaran cruise, it truly felt like an absolute dream with all of our closet family and friends. The entire time will always be my favorite memory!
Why would you recommend a destination wedding to future couples?
Its an unforgettable vacation/trip celebrating one of the best days of your life with your most favorite people. My husband and I had said multiple times, we will never be on a trip like this again with all of these same people together and it was just truly amazing to have that experience. Some people never traveled out of the country, some never been to Mexico, we had family tell us "we haven't had a family vacation in 20 years", etc- and it was an awesome feelings to know all of this was happening to celebrate us getting married. To me it is just a priceless experience in so many ways. I will always recommend a destination wedding to anyone getting married!

Your top tips for future destination wedding couples
My first tip is TRUST THE PROCESS! I can obviously only speak for our resort, Secrets Moxche, but these people know what they are doing. They blew my expectations out of the water. I'm a bit type A and it was crazy to see how amazing they were at their jobs. If I could go back in time, I would stress way less and enjoy way more. With every vendor and even the catamaran company, you can just tell they love weddings and giving these groups an amazing time. They are rockstars at their jobs and just trust them to do a great job.
Second tip - everyone is different in this aspect but if you are trying to decide while planning. Don't focus on small details and all the small decor. The resorts are SO beautiful in themselves, but it can be easy to get carried away with all the options they present you- don't waste time/money on the small stuff and focus on the memorable stuff that will make your destination wedding a blast and that everyone will talk about forever!
