Luxury Travel Boutique works with the onsite wedding coordinator to ensure wedding planning is seamless process and every detail is addressed. While all-inclusive resorts will assign a wedding coordinator around 3-4 months prior to your wedding, there will be questions and tasks due ahead of that time. By partnering with Luxury Travel Boutique, you will feel more prepared going into those final planning moments!  We provide personalized attention and focus to each couple, ensuring planning is on time and communications with the wedding venue are consistent.

Luxury Travel Boutique will assist you communicating with preferred vendors and providing additional local vendor suggestions when needed.

We organize travel for all of your guests so you can focus on what matters most! Additionally, we ensure that you receive group concessions or “freebies” earned by hosting a group.

It varies but in most cases, it will be (much) less than a wedding of the same caliber in the United States. The cost of a destination wedding can vary greatly.  Factors heavily influencing destination wedding costs include location, venue, number of wedding events, number of guests, exchange rate and time of year.

According to a recent survey by the Knot, the average destination wedding spend is $41,000 which includes travel expenses and ALL destinations.  Digging deeper into the data, you will find average destination wedding costs at all-inclusive resorts in Mexico and the Caribbean are closer to $5,000 to $10,000.

Most of our wedding couples receive all-inclusive hotel accommodations at no additional cost - that's right! In addition to a free room (or rooms in some cases), many resorts will also offer complimentary wedding packages or even free events such as a welcome cocktail hour or a semi-private rehearsal dinner.

As a way of saying 'thank you' for bringing family and friends to the resort, the resort provides group concessions - aka 'comps' or 'freebies' - to the wedding couple.  The specific amount of comps are determined by either the number of guests or number of rooms booked within the wedding group.  Additional factors include the resort brand as well as the time of year (low demand travel seasons sometimes have better comps).

After the wedding group travels, the couple receives a refund.  Some of our clients have seen refunds upwards of $25,000!  Essentially, the wedding couple is reimbursed for both travel expenses and wedding expenses.

In general - the sooner the better depending on the location and time of year! Some venues start booking 2 years plus in advance. If you are engaged and ready to start planning, it's never too early.

Yes and no. If you are flexible when it comes to dates and destination, it's definitely possible! However, please keep in mind that your guests will need time to plan for time off of work/school and save money for travel expenses. To increase the chances of more guests being able to attend your destination wedding, Luxury Travel Boutique recommends giving guests at least 10-12 months of notice.

Luxury Travel Boutique does not charge couples a planning fee for destination wedding planning services. We are compensated for our time via commission from the room block and in some cases the wedding package. In addition to great rates, couples receive all concessions earned as well (Luxury Travel Boutique does not keep concessions).

We're glad you asked! Choosing a destination wedding specialist is a huge decision as you will be working with your specialist over a 1 to 2-year period in most cases. It's important that you feel comfortable and confident in working with your specialist. This is where the consultation call comes in handy! You will have the opportunity to ask questions and see if Luxury Travel Boutique is the right for you.

• Consultation - We will discuss all aspects of your destination wedding from resort/destination to the vibe of your wedding day

• Contract - Luxury Travel Boutique will assist you in reserving rooms for your guests and contracting the wedding venue.

• Communicate - You will receive a custom travel website with reservation information to share with guests. We also provide assistance with save the date and invitation design.

• Coordinate - We will work with you and your guests to coordinate travel plans including hotel accommodations, airport transportation in destination, group excursions and more!

• Collaborate - Luxury Travel Boutique works with the on-site wedding coordinator to bring your wedding vision to life and to ensure timely, seamless communication.

• Connect - You will have direct access to your destination wedding specialist for any last-minute questions or concerns. Guests will have access to our “During Travel Team” to assist with unforeseen issues that may arise prior to departure or in-destination.

We specialize in all-inclusive resorts throughout Mexico and the Caribbean. Most couples find that hosting their destination wedding at an all-inclusive resort brings the best value for the couple as well as convenience for their guests. We can also work with securing your wedding events at an off-site venue and book room accommodations for your guests at a nearby resort.

Yes! Luxury Travel Boutique works with all types of destinations for weddings and romantic getaways. From intimate elopements to South Asian and Indian weddings (and everything in between) we will be with you each step of the way.

A room block is a contract with the chosen resort that holds rooms specifically for your wedding group at specified rates during specified dates.  The main purpose of a room block is to ensure hotel availability for your guests at your chosen wedding venue.  

Imagine contracting your wedding with a non-refundable deposit and the hotel selling out of rooms before your guests have a chance to book – disaster!  A room block also locks the rate to prevent future price increases.  If hotel rates decrease after contract, Luxury Travel Boutique will request the hotel to price match the lower rates.  

And, as a bonus, the couple will receive group concessions or freebies if you meet the minimum booking requirements within the group. During the planning process, we will discuss if a room block is right for your wedding group based on your anticipated guest count.  

We ask that guests book their flights directly with their airline of choice at their convenience and provide tips for finding the best flights. Guests will receive email reminders to submit their flight info to Luxury Travel Boutique so we can set up their airport transportation and double check the flights are booked for the right travel dates and airport. 

For a destination wedding, Luxury Travel Boutique will arrange hotel accommodations and airport transportation for guests. We will also ensure the couple receives credit for any rooms booked in the room block to earn free nights and/or free access to events.
